Samsung has been doing a great job of rolling out Android 13 with One UI 5.0 to its eligible Galaxy devices. However, the company is not resting on its laurels and is already preparing for the next major software update: Android 14 with One UI 6.0.
According to SamMobile, Samsung is planning to launch its One UI 6.0 beta program in the third week of July, starting with the Galaxy S23 series. This would be two months earlier than previous years, indicating that Samsung is speeding up its software development cycle.

One UI 6.0 will be based on Android 14, which Google has already released in beta form for its Pixel devices and other select models. Android 14 brings many new features and improvements, such as better privacy controls, redesigned widgets, native screen recording, scrolling screenshots, and more.
Samsung will likely add its own enhancements and customizations to One UI 6.0, such as improved design, more personalization options, better performance, and seamless updates. The company has not officially revealed any details about One UI 6.0 yet, but we may get some hints at its upcoming Unpacked event in Seoul, where it is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
The Galaxy S23 series will be the first to receive the One UI 6.0 update, followed by other eligible devices. Samsung has updated its software update policy to offer four years of security updates and three years of OS updates to many of its Galaxy devices.
